USA Gymnastics BGC tumblers find perfection at springfield (mo.) Invitational

Only one word captures the impact of the Bartlesville Gymnastics Club on the recent Maggie Nichols We Are Strong Invitational (Springfield, Mo.).

Wow!

The USA Gymnastics BGC tumblers won the All-Around championship in every division in which they participated. Nine for nine — perfection at the top.

This elite list of graceful and gritty Bartlesville-area scrappers who won their competitions included: Brooklyn Sylvester (Level 7), Harper Maudlin (Level 8, Junior), Lyndsey Lief (Level 9), Raynie Ketcher (Level 10), Rylee Laxson (XCEL Gold, Junior A), Haylee Clark (XCEL Gold, Child A), Andie McMillin (XCEL Gold, Child B), Sophia Johnson (XCEL Silver, Child A) and Alia Calhoun (xCEL Silver, Child D).

In addition, five other BGC standouts finished second-place All-Around.

Ketcher and Calhoun each boasted golden sweeps by winning all four individual events (vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise) in their divisions. Laxson and Johnson each seized the title on three of the four stations.

Following are the All-Around results plus top-three individual event finishes for the BGC entrants.

Chloe Canipe — All-Around, 2nd (36.175); Vault (3rd, 8.75), Bars (2nd, 9.35), Beam (2nd, 9.125), Floor (3rd, 9.05).

Hayden Littleford place — All-Around, 5th (33.55); Floor (1st, 9.2).
